Postgrads discuss well engineering
1st International Conference on Oil Condensate and Gas Condensate Reservoir Engineering at Russian Oil Companies was held at the Institute on 25 January.
The event was organized by the Department of Petroleum, Gas and Carbon Materials Technology. It was joined by overseas students from Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, as well as practicing professionals from local oil and gas companies – Tatneft, Gazprom, and others.
“The petroleum engineering major is a powerful source for the vitality of many industries, the expanse of which begins with the exploration and development of oil and gas fields to the complex processing of all types of hydrocarbon raw materials with the production of demanded petroleum products. In this regard, the training of masters in the technologies of oil, gas and natural bitumen specialization as part of the petroleum engineering major can be an important stage in professional development,” says Associate Professor Ruslan Kemalov.
The conference contributors were given appreciation letters from the Institute.
