IGPT scientists contribute to a conference in Suzdal
IGPT representatives took part in the International Conference for the 70th anniversary of the Geophysical Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the 300th anniversary of the Russian Academy of Sciences ‘Data Science, Geoinformatics and System Analysis in Earth Studies’, held in the ancient city of Suzdal in Vladimir Oblast.
The reports were delivered by Eduard Utemov, Associate Professor of the Department of Geophysics and Geo-Information Technologies, and Igor Ognev, Associate Professor of the Center for the Modeling of Hard-to-Recover Hydrocarbons. The scientists presented their developments at the sessions on geomagnetism and space weather, as well as on oil and gas and mining.
A poster report on the methodology of analyzing digital elevation models for forecasting oil and gas content of large territories was presented by Fagim Garaev.
