Invitations extended to Chemical EOR Methods: Challenges Facing the Petroleum Industry
The event is scheduled for May 29 – 31, 2024.
The aim of this event is to exchange experience, discuss industry challenges faced by participants, and propose innovative solutions to overcome them. To achieve this goal, the event will feature an exchange of current experiences, identify promising opportunities in the industry, and outline the development paths of technologies related to the application of chemical EOR. During the event, participants will conduct a review of promising Russian and foreign projects in this field.
Among the topics are:
- 1 Current status and review of pilot and full-scale chemical EOR projects
- 2 New chemical agents and technologies for successful chemical EOR application, especially for harsh conditions and unconventional reserves
- 3 Localization of key chemical EOR elements: chemistry, equipment and consumables
- 4 Combined EOR methods using chemical agents (FAWAG, LTG, Steam-Foam, etc.)
- 5 Well-bore treatment and conformance control for further chemical EOR application
- 6 Digital solutions and simulation for improving efficiency of chemical EOR methods
- 7 Monitoring chemical EOR methods in the field – tracers, geochemical and biological markers
