“We are glad that our cooperation with China Petroleum University (UPC) is expanding,” says Ildus Chukmarov, Deputy Director of IGPT for Marketing, Director of the Center for Advanced Training (CdoGEO). “The history of friendly relations with China began back in 2015, when CdoGEO together with Hechuan LLC realized the internship of managers and employees of TNG-Group on the basis of COSL and CNPC CPL (Beijing and Xi’an). After a while we signed a memorandum of understanding between KFU and China University of Petroleum and agreed to implement additional professional education programs for students and staff of the university. Last year we trained students from China in four professional development programs. Regular webinars and internships strengthen our ties. And after such a visit, we hope to further develop our cooperation.”

Other IGPT’s partners in China include Southwest Petroleum University, Northeast Petroleum University, Chongqing University of Science and Technology, and Jilin University.

Throughout their stay in Kazan, the visitors were accompanied by the Institute’s International Cooperation Officer Yury Nurmeev.
