Noyabrskneftegaz expanding cooperation with KFU

Students, teachers and HR specialists from specialized higher education institutions that are members of Gazprom Neft’s University League visited the company’s production facilities and well production and construction control centers, and got acquainted with the social infrastructure of Noyabrsk and Muravlenko towns.

Among them were representatives of the Institute – Ilyas Idrisov, Head of the Gazpromneft Digital Twin Modeling Laboratory and the Gazprom Neft-KFU Research and Development Center, Anastasia Mikhailova, Senior Researcher of the Laboratory of In-Situ Combustion, and Dina Minekayeva, Assistant Lecturer of the Department of Petroleum Engineering.

Gazprom Neft-Noyabrskneftegaz is ready to hire 50 young specialists every year, providing them with development opportunities and comfortable living conditions in the Far North. Over the last 5 years, Gazprom Neft-Noyabrskneftegaz has hired more than 450 graduates. Today, a quarter of the company’s personnel is under 30 years of age.

From day one, young workers have access to a comprehensive social package and a number of additional benefits. These include corporate housing, free meals in the office and in the field, a gym, and health resort treatment. Employees of Noyabrskneftegaz receive a ‘northern bonus’ from their first day of work – an additional payment for working in the Far North, and they also have access to a long vacation of at least 52 days.

At Noyabrskneftegaz, newcomers gain industry-relevant experience in working with heavy oil reserves. They can improve their professional level by participating in professional skill contests and scientific and technical conferences, undergoing internships and additional training. Employees are involved in public and volunteer activities, such as environmental and charity events, team-building activities and competitions.

Ivan Petrov, General Director of Gazprom Neft-Noyabrskneftegaz, comments, “Noyabrskneftegaz provides graduates with a unique opportunity for career and professional growth. Our company develops 37 fields, each of which is unique in terms of geology and infrastructure and requires a non-linear approach to subsoil resource development. After university, I started my career as a young employee at the Vyngapurovskoye field, where I gained relevant experience in working with heavy oil, and then I changed areas of activity several times, from operations to long-term planning. At the same time, Noyabrskneftegaz employees have the opportunity to develop both vertically, growing from specialist to manager, and horizontally, expanding their competencies and becoming experts in a narrow field.”
