KFU’s reagents for enhanced oil recovery presented in Tyumen
The conference “Science in the design and development of oil fields – new opportunities” was held in Tyumen by Rosneft.
Alexander Bolotov, Senior Research Associate of the Laboratory of Enhanced Oil Recovery, shared details about KFU’s work on reagents for EOR.
“At the conference, I presented new reagents developed in KFU laboratories, and also presented successful results of field tests – these are surfactants/polymer systems, catalysts, various tracer compositions for evaluation of oil recovery enhancement efficiency, inhibitors, demulsifiers, reagents for repair and insulation works on the well,” says Bolotov.
Bolotov’s presentation was nominated for the best paper prize at the panel on modern EOR and production enhancement techniques.
