Institute visited by Academicians of the Russian Academy of Sciences

Anatolii Zamrii, First Deputy Chairman of the Council of the Union of Oil and Gas Industrialists of Russia, General Director of the Interindustry Expert Analytical Center, Chairman of the Secretariat of the Award Committee of the Industry Public Awards of the Russian industrial complex, Chairman of the Committee for Equipment and Technologies of Oil and Gas Chemistry and Refining of the Union of Oil and Gas Industrialists, Member of the Council of the Russian Union of Chemists, Member of the Expert Council of the State Duma Committee on Energy, Member of the Committee of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation on Energy Strategy and Development of the Fuel and Energy Complex – Subcommittee of the Committee on Energy Strategy and Development of the Fuel and Energy Complex.

The guests started their acquaintance with the laboratory complex, visiting the Center for Geothermochronology, the Laboratory of Geomechanics, and the Laboratory of Computer Tomography, where they got acquainted with the projects implemented by the Institute.

“During the meeting we discussed the prospects of mutual cooperation and outlined benchmarks for joint work. Colleagues were pleasantly surprised by the capabilities of our laboratories and emphasized that the topics dealt with in the laboratories are interesting, relevant and promising. Then we introduced them to the work of the Center for Liquid Hydrocarbons and the results obtained in this Center,” said Danis Nurgaliev, Vice-Rector for Earth Sciences.

After visiting the Institute, the delegation went to the meeting of the Board of Directors of Tatarstan Petroleum Chemistry Investment Holding with participation of Rustam Minnikhanov, Rais (Governor) of Tatarstan, where several reports were presented. Alexander Sigov spoke about innovative solutions and developments of RTU MIREA for microelectronics and challenges of the chemical industry, and Dmitry Markovich spoke about solutions of the Institute of Thermal Physics for Tatarstani companies.
