Cooperation agreement signed with Iran University of Science and Technology
Rector Lenar Safin’s visit to Iran continues.
At the meeting, he was accompanied by First Vice-Rector Dmitry Tayursky and Vice-Rector for Earth Sciences Danis Nurgaliev.
IUST was represented by Vice-Chancellor for Technology and Innovation Said Mohammad Ali Butorabi, Vice-Chancellor for Research Dawood Yunesyan, PR Director Puyan Ayar, and others.
The two sides discussed cooperation, including artificial intelligence in the hydrocarbon industry.
The Kazanites visited IUST”s laboratories and raised the question of possible cooperation between KFU’s Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies, IUST, and Russian and Iranian companies. A research seminar is planned for the nearest future.
