Center for Liquid Hydrocarbons pitches projects at RITEK’s 15th R&D Competition for Young Scientists
The event was held on 15 – 17 November.
The nominations were as follows:
- Recovery, refining and transportation of associated gas and natural gas;
- Oil recovery and enhanced oil recovery;
- Geology and geophysics;
- Well drilling;
- Industrial and environmental safety;
- Mechanics, power engineering, energy efficiency;
- Economics, planning and investment;
- Metrology, automation, IT and communications;
- HR policies, motivation, and labor relations.
Senior Research Associate of the Laboratory of Enhanced Oil Recovery Irek Mukhamatdinov contributed to roundtable and spoke about KFU’s cooperation with RITEK, mentioning the two sides’ field testing at an oilfield in Samara Oblast, carbon sequestration research, and planned tests of heat-resistant surfactantrs.
PhD student Aleksey Khayuzkin described Domanik deposits of the Volga-Ural oil province and their prospective development.
Deputy Director of the Institute Andrey Teryokhin received a special expert panel prize.
