Students receive vocational training in oil and gas operator profession at CdoGEO

59 students have graduated from the Center for Advanced Training’s latest short educational course for 3rd category oil and gas production operators.

The studies, supported by the regional branch of the Russian Society of Student Squads, were implemented as part of federal grant project for student squad participants and was free of charge for the students. They received theoretical instruction and interned at specialized laboratories.

As part of the course, the students went to Almetyevsk to train at TsPK-Tatneft, the oil giant’s education department. They got acquainted with real-life oil production environments and modern equipment.

“95 students of the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies have received the production operator qualification this year. This opens new opportunities for them, including paid internships at biggest oil companies like Tatneft, Rosneft, LUKOIL, and Gazprom Neft, and employment prospects. In September, we are enrolling another group and invite everyone to join,” noted Deputy Director of IGPT for Continuing Education and Industrial Partnerships Ildus Chukmarov.
