Institute delegation visits Innopolis
The IGPT team was headed by Vice-Rector for Earth Sciences Danis Nurgaliev.
He was accompanied by Deputy Director of IGPT for Marketing Ildus Chukmarov, Deputy Director for Innovation Vladislav Sudakov, Senior Research Associate (Laboratory of Enhanced Oil Recovery) Rail Kadyrov, Junior Research Associate (Laboratory of Utilization of Carbon Dioxide in Natural Underground Reservoirs) Airat Yarullin, and Associate Professor (Department of Mathematical Methods in Geology) Timur Zakirov.
The Institute representatives met with Vice-Premier of Tatarstan Roman Shaykhutdinov, Director of Innopolis University Kirill Semenikhin, Head of AI Institute Ramil Kuleev, and others.
Dr Nurgaliev presented IGPT’s research to the audience, “We discussed projects to create software for the oil and gas industry, as well as the development and production of reagents for enhanced oil recovery, hydraulic fracturing, creation and implementation of courses for additional professional education in the field of prospecting, exploration and production of hydrocarbons..”
Innopolis University team spoke about their work and offered cooperation for better results.
Dr Chukmarov commented, “The colleagues showed interest in advanced training and international projects. We offered joint network courses for the countries where representative offices of Tatarstan are located.”
The next meeting will be held at Kazan Federal University.
