Students meet with representatives of TNG-AlGIS

Employees of one of the largest oilfield services companies of Tatarstan arrived to talk with young people on 4 April.

Deputy Director of IGPT for Academic Affairs Andrey Teryokhin noted, “During the year, we have many meetings with our industrial partners and your potential employers. Direct contact is very important. No one can answer your questions, speak about opportunities, or describe prospects better than the people tasked with hiring you.”

Deputy Director for Strategic Development of TNG-AlGIS Dinar Zamalov congratulated everyone on the upcoming Geologist Day (celebrated in Russia on the first Sunday of April). He presented AlGIS’s current priorities and results in 2024, “We need geophysicists who now what the mineral resource base is, how extraction is handled, and have up-to-date knowledge and skills in geophysical technology.”

Mr Zamalov informed that his company has for a long time been a partner of KFU, providing internships to students and sending its employees to received advanced training here.

In conclusion, the students asked questions regarding internships and employment.
