Research
Conducting physical and mechanical tests and petrophysical studies on core samples, both in atmospheric and reservoir simulation conditions in order to determine:
- acoustic properties (longitudinal and transverse wave velocity, attenuation coefficient and goodness of fit, calculation of dynamic elastic moduli – Young’s modulus, Poisson’s ratio, compressive bulk modulus, shear modulus);
- electrical properties – specific electrical resistance;
- deformation and strength characteristics – static modulus of deformation and modulus of elasticity; transverse strain and Poisson’s ratio, uniaxial compression/tensile strength, hardness according to L.A.Shreiner method, crack resistance according to ISRM method, volume compression strength and construction of rock strength passport (calculation of cohesion and angle of internal friction).
