“Collaboration with colleagues from other universities is a key tool for finding solutions to complex problems. For me, as the recently appointed Director of Innopolis University, this is especially relevant. We have already discussed several ideas with the team from the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies that could develop into projects for large companies, and we are very committed to working together,” commented Dmitry Vandyukov after the meeting.

According to Dr Nurgaliev, Innopolis University has enormous scientific and educational potential in IT, artificial intelligence, and experience using neural networks for data processing and analysis, including in the oil and gas industry, “In discussions with the new leadership of Innopolis University, we identified areas of synergy between our universities in the area of oil and gas technologies. We have projects that we can jointly implement for companies. I believe this collaboration will be fruitful, as our universities complement each other. We have strong competencies in geology, oil and gas production, and enhanced oil recovery methods. Innopolis University, with its extensive IT potential, could participate in our projects. In turn, we, using our competencies, can successfully collaborate on their projects related to geology and oil and gas production.”
