Students and employees receive fraud prevention training
On 24 October, IGPT students met with experts of the University’s Section of Crime Prevention of the Department of Comprehensive Security.
The visitors spoke about extremism and terrorism prevention among students and popular phone fraud techniques.
In his turn, Vice-Rector for Comprehensive Security Rishat Guzeirov met with the employees. He presented popular cybercrime schemes and instructed the audience on how to avoid social engineering fraud and where to apply if one has fallen victim to such deception.
“In order not to get caught in fraudulent schemes, it’s important to be aware of possible dangers of banking operations and to never disclose banking card data to anyone,” he emphasized.
